HANGING OPTIONS

We offer either heavy duty chain or tough, durable rope with which to hang your swing. Chain is the standard option supplied, rope can be added to your shopping cart if you prefer that. You can read more about these options below, and check out our pictures below.

CHAIN

We use much thicker, stronger, heavier rated chain than you will find just about anywhere else. The chain is rated nearly twice as strong as the standard double loop chain - it is rated to hold over 800 pounds.

ROPE

Our rope is made to look like manilla rope, but because it is poly rope it will not mildew or rot. It is 3/4 inch thick, and is rated stronger than our heavy duty chain. We will provide you with plenty of rope so that you can tie it and hang it from a 10 foot height. Please let us know if you are planning on hanging it from a point higher than 10 feet above the ground. The additional cost of adding rope to your order is $35.

stain and waterproofing

If you would like, we will finish your daybed swing with a durable cedar wood stain and water sealant. This treatment will bring out the color in your arbor swing and drastically slow down the natural cedar aging process. The OPTIONAL additional cost for stain and water sealant treatment on this item is $90. See the picture to decide if you want your order to be natural or stained cedar.

STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE

If you would like your daybed swing made with ALL STAINLESS STEEL HARDWARE, we can do that for you. All screws, bolts, washers, nuts as well as the hanging chain (if that is your hanging option), will be stainless steel. The OPTIONAL additional cost for this is $125.

The Traditional Cedar Daybed Swing will accommodate a variety of mattress sizes. Enjoy hours of lounging around, reading, napping or anything you can imagine in this wonderful daybed. Please look at the pictures for exact details. Mattress, pillows and linens are not included. Mattress sized 5" thick outdoor bed cushions are available to purchase. This great bed swing is made from 100% western red cedar wood and solidly built with slats on a 2x4, 2x6 and 4x4 solid frame for plenty of support, years of service and good looks. Cedar has beautiful color and ages well to give years of service from your porch swing. If you would like to have this swing built in a custom size just email us for a quote.

This high quality item is very heavy, solid and sturdy. You will need to hang this from a structure that can safely and securely support all the weight properly.

After about 30-60 minutes of assembly, your new bed swing will be complete. After you complete the assembly with the hardware that we provide for you, all that is left to do is pick a spot to hang your daybed swing.
